Important Notice about Case Inquiry Search

The case information contained within this web site is generated from computerized records maintained by Fairfield County Common Pleas Court and is deemed to be public information. While every effort is made to assure the data is accurate and current, it must be accepted and used by the recipient with the understanding that no warranties, expressed or implied, concerning the accuracy, reliability or suitability of this data have been made. The Court, Clerks of Court, their agents, and the developers of this web site assume no liability whatsoever associated with the use or misuse of the data contained herein.

Please note that in order to comply with 18 U.S.C. 2265(d)(3), records relating to civil protection orders and stalking civil protection orders will no longer be available for viewing via an Internet-based forum, including CourtView eAccess. The public may access these records by coming to the Fairfield County Clerk of Courts office.

CourtView Justice Solutions ensures that the software that runs our Case Inquiry Search, which is the eAccess component of eServices, works with Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 8 or later, Google Chrome Version 24 or later, and Mozilla Firefox Version 3 or later. If you are having trouble using Case Inquiry Search on your device, you may need to install or update Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome, whichever is available for your device. Also note that due to differences between devices, the presentation of the information may differ from one device to another.

If you are searching by case number, the case number must be formatted with the four digit year, a space, the two letter case type, a space, then the five digit case number (which may include leading zeroes). An example would be 2001 CR 00001 .

You can click the yellow question marks for more help at any time.

Please note the following about images available online: All General Division court records filed on or after January 1, 2018 that are subject to public disclosure will be available online. However, due to a current limitation in the CourtView software, the Image link with the document icon next to it will show up as if images are available for all documents that have document images filed with the Court. Clicking on the Image link for anything dated before January 1, 2018, or for documents that otherwise are not currently available for online viewing, will return the message "No document images available." This includes any dockets that are not part of the General Division. We know that this is confusing and we apologize for the inconvenience. We are working with CourtView on a solution for this.
